Understanding your fees is an important part of planning your university journey. At the University of Bristol, Mumbai Enterprise Campus, we're committed to making fee information clear, transparent and easy to understand. On this page, you'll find information about different types of fees, what they cover and how you can make payments throughout your studies.

Tuition fees

Tuition fees vary depending on your chosen programme and residency status, they are published on each programme page. Your tuition fee will be confirmed in your offer letter and remains subject to the University's published terms and conditions. In terms of residency status, domestic students are categorised as those who are Indian nationals and currently reside in India. Students who do not meet this criteria are categorised as international students. If your tuition fees are funded by a sponsor or another organisation, you remain responsible for ensuring that all payments are made in accordance with the agreed payment schedule.

Your tuition fee supports each aspect of your academic experience at the University of Bristol, Mumbai Enterprise Campus. It includes access to teaching, learning resources, libraries and specialist facilities (where applicable), academic support, student services, examinations and graduation. Some programmes may include additional optional costs, such as field trips, professional memberships or specialist equipment. Where applicable, these will be communicated to you before you enrol.

Your tuition fees can be paid securely through the payment methods communicated during your admissions process. Once you accept your offer, you'll receive instructions on payment deadlines, accepted payment methods and the steps required to complete your payment.

Please ensure that all tuition fees are paid by the applicable due dates to complete your enrollment and continue your studies without interruption. If you have any questions regarding fee payments, our Admissions Team will be happy to assist you.

One-time payments

Some payments are made once during your admissions journey and are separate from your annual tuition fees. You’ll receive instructions during your admissions process on what must be paid when and how to make secure payments.

Your one time payments include:

  • Application fee 2,000 INR
  • Admission fee 50,000 INR
  • Security deposit 50,000 INR

Cost of living in Mumbai

Students who choose to stay in University-managed accommodation will receive a separate accommodation fee schedule before moving in.

 

Accommodation charges typically include your room, selected amenities and associated residential services. Where applicable, a refundable security deposit will also be payable before check-in, subject to the accommodation provider's terms and conditions.

Refunds

The University of Bristol, Mumbai Enterprise Campus is committed to a transparent and fair refund process. Refunds are processed in accordance with the University's policies and any applicable regulations issued by the University Grants Commission (UGC), Government of India.  

 

If you choose to withdraw your admission before commencing your studies, you may be eligible for a tuition fee refund in accordance with the University's Refund Policy and the applicable admissions timeline. Refunds are calculated based on the date your withdrawal request is received in relation to the University's formally notified last date of admission.

  • Application fee – The application fee is non-refundable under any circumstances. Applicants are encouraged to review the eligibility criteria, program requirements and application deadlines before making payment.
  • Admission fee – The admission fee paid to confirm your place is refundable if you cancel your admission in accordance with the University's refund policy.
  • Security deposit – The security deposit is fully refundable upon graduation or withdrawal from the University, provided all outstanding dues ha.ve been cleared, any University property has been returned (where applicable), and all exit formalities have been completed.

Approved refunds will normally be made through the original payment method or to the bank account provided by the student, following successful verification of the required documentation. Processing timelines may vary depending on the payment method, banking processes and completion of all required formalities.

Important information

  • Refund eligibility depends on the date of cancellation or withdrawal.
  • Any approved deductions will be communicated transparently before processing.
  • Students should submit all refund requests using the prescribed University process.
  • Students are encouraged to retain copies of all payment receipts and correspondence until the refund process is complete.

Payment advice

Please read the following carefully before making any payment to the University.

  • Verify that you are using only the University's official payment channels.
  • Carefully review your offer letter, fee schedule and payment deadlines before completing any transaction.
  • Keep a copy of every payment receipt for your records.
  • Do not make payments to individuals or unauthorised third parties claiming to represent the University.
  • Tuition fees and accommodation fees may have separate payment schedules.
